We are excited to have partnered with a client to source a Scrub Nurse. The successful applicant will be joining a small but highly successful team that prides themselves on putting patients first.
You will be providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage and assisting in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.
The unit performs various surgical procedures ranging from General Surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastics and Ophthalmic.
Duties and Responsibilities
If you are a Theatre Practitioner looking for a role where you can build a diverse range of clinical skills this is the place for you, as they client offer a very wide range of surgical procedures, ranging in complexity. The theatre teams are actively working with other parties to understand latest innovative, evidence -based clinical techniques. They offer genuine support to Theatre Nurses and ODPs to build their skills through mentoring and formal training.
The working pattern for the role covers a variety of shifts so flexibility is essential.
Who are we looking for
- Readily available to apply for NMC or has NMC registration
- Has required level of English language
- Experience with perioperative stage
- General scrub & circulating skills, with experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a varied patient case mix.
- Passion for providing clinically excellent care
